Pretty Girl!

Lily had her first Valentine's yesterday and she looked like a little princess. She even got a present from a boy in her class. hmmm I have checked him out and have met his mother. They seem nice enough. She slept so well last night. Almost 7 hours. I was so proud of her this morning. She was well rested and ready to start her day. We are going on a plane tonight. So we will see how she does with that. I am sure she will be wonderful because she is my girl. She can't wait to get to Amarillo and see her Mosie Mo. I can't wait to see her either. She even gets to meet her aunt Weazer too. She is so excited about that. She has gotten so many clothes from Aunt Weazer and it is time to meet her. Much Love, McF

Snugar Booger Update!

The precious little angel that she is.... She is sleeping so well in her crib. We are still trying to figure out how to keep her in a swaddle. She is so strong-- she wiggles right out of there. But, aunt Leann has turned us onto a miracle blanket so I am hoping that works. We will let you know. She is doing so well at day care. They say she is by far the best dressed baby in her class. Well at least one of us is best dressed. I get her all ready for the day and then I find my wet hair going into a ponytail. :)

She smiles so much now. She just looks at you and smiles, probably because she thinks her mom and dad are dorks. Well she might be onto something there. We are going to go and see her Mosie Mo (my mom) next week. So that will be the first time on a plane. Please help me to get through that. McF

Well

It looks as if my little princess is gonna be a thumb sucker. I can't fault her for that- right now it is sure cute. She is doing so well. She is starting to smile more and more. She has her first little cold- which has been fun! I don't look forward to all of the colds.

She is doing so well in day care. They seem to really like her there. Although all Mike and I do is watch her on the internet to see what she is doing. She will start Tues-Weds-Thurs next week so I can get back to work. Monday is my actual real day back. I start travelling soon- how will I be without my princess. I just miss her already. McF

Daycare

Our little girl started daycare today and it was so hard for me to leave her there. I know that she had fun though! It has to get easier leaving our little one with other people. She is getting so big and is so much fun to be around. She is sleeping pretty good in her crib. She has bad nights- last one would be considered one of those. But, all in all she is getting the hang of it. We actually woke up before her the other morning- needless to say that scared me. I made Mike run in and check on her- there she was the little angel just sleeping away. I was so proud of her. That is all for now! McF

check up

We went to the doctor today and got our shots. That was probably harder on mom then it was on Lily. She actually has pretty much doubled in size. She already weighs 12lbs. I can't believe she has gotten so big. Before we know it she will be walking. The doctor gave us good ideas for getting her to sleep in her crib, now all we need to invest in are some ear plugs. McF

Sleep

Well we have figured the way to get Lily to sleep. I hate to say that she sleeps like a champ in her little swing. What am I gonna do to get her in her crib? She is starting to smile so much more and even starting to "coo" whatever that really is. Mike and I were talking yesterday that we must be nuts, because we can't wait to have another one. We go for shots tomorrow I am scared about that, but at least Mike will have to be the bad guy and be in the room with her. I just can't handle the thought. Especially since she now cries real tears. McF

Almost 8 weeks

I can not even believe that my little princess is almost 8 weeks old. She goes in for her 2 month shots next week. I am not looking forward to that, as a matter of fact I am dreading it. I do not want to see my little baby girl hurt.

She is starting to smirk a little here and there. She really smirks when her daddy looks at her. She loves her daddy and goodness he loves her. It is amazing to watch the 2 of them together.

We had a milestone today. She actually took her first nap in her crib. I can not even believe it. I think I called and told everyone about it. I was so excited that I could not get anything done.

We met her teacher today and I just love her. I think that she will be wonderful with Lily. She is starting day care a week from next. But, only 2 days a week for a while. I think that is all for now. I promise to get better in updating this. Much Love, McF
