Last night she was a little fussy in her crib so I went in to see what the problem was and staring back at me was this baby that was standing in her crib holding onto the railing. I could not believe my eyes. I ran outside to tell Mike how big his girl is getting.

Lily 7 months and 1 week old.
So many things are starting to happen. She is now crawling all around. You put her on the ground and you turn the other way and she is gone. It is amazing to watch her get around. We went in for her shots last week a little late she was supposed to get them at 6 months. ooops. She weighs 18lbs. I am starting to feel that weight in my lower back. She is so precious. She smiles and smiles and smiles. We had our first really high fever this week. It got up to 104.5 and needless to say I was beside myself but she was still smiling. She is better now and went back to school to catch up on her art projects.

She has been swimming a lot this summer and sure loves it. I even got her a pool of her own. She has only been able to swim in it once because of her fever. I am sure that this weekend she will be back at it.

Lily almost 7 months!
Nu Nus is almost 7 months old. I just can not believe how fast this is going by. Our first 2 teeth are almost completely in and believe me she can bite--- OUCH! She is still trying her hardest to crawl. It is so funny to watch her it is almost like she is revving up to take off. She is moving forward rather than backwards now. So that is for sure progress. Everyday is so much fun with her. Just her smile first thing in the morning is enough to make you get out of bed and be ready for whatever the day has instore for you.
Tomorrow is Father Day. A bittersweet day for me. It is my first without my father and it is Mike's first as a father. He is truly doing a wonderful job. He loves this baby more than anything in the world. We are going to take him to his favorite place for breakfast and then after that-- who knows. It will be up to the little one as to what she is in the "mood" to do. As for now I don't have much else to say. I will post Father's Day pics soon. Besos, McCalle

Lily's weekend with Aunt Leslie
Lily has been doing a lot lately. I think she thinks she is one of the adults. She goes to the pool and swims with everyone and just wants to be around people. She does not want to go down for a nap for fear that she might miss out on the action.
She has 2 little teeth that have come in and to tell you the truth it makes me a little sad. This means she is getting older and no longer a little baby. She almost has the the crawling down. There is one slight problem though, she goes the wrong way. She can get around the room in a hurry but backwards. McF

Lily's Memorial Day Weekend
Where to start with our wonderful family weekend. We went to Austin on Friday night for a visit with Lily's aunts. Leslie and Becca babysat on Friday night while mommy and daddy went out for some fancy b-b-q. It was nice to get away but I have to admit I was in touch with Leslie the entire night.

Lily learned how to kick her little legs in the pool. She loved the pool. I thought for sure she would be fussy when first getting in, but she was anything but fussy. Now we just have to get a new floaty that will protect her from the sun.
Then on Sunday it was off to the Astros game. Lily loves babeball and everyone around her thought she was wonderful. I know that her bow does not match (thanks CC) but it was all that we had so no one would think this little angel was a boy angel. Can you believe it she made it to 7 innings. She started getting really fussy when the Stros started losing so we headed on home.
She is starting to get little sharp teeth. So watch out she no longer gums you she is starting to bite you. We are having so much fun with her and just love her more and more everyday. Is that even possible? McF

Lily almost 6 months

Lily and Little Bear having their own little chat!
I can't even believe this little one is almost 6 months old. Where oh where has the time gone. Nothing much is new---well she is just getting more and more active everyday. It is only a matter of time before she is able to sit up. She sits up for a little bit then off to the side she falls. I am ready for her to be able to sit in her high chair or in a restaurant high chair. Not trying to make her grow any faster though. She is going to Austin next weekend for her first trip to see all of her aunts. I know she is so excited about it. Mike and I are going out for our anniversary and Lily is staying in with Aunt Leslie- I know they will have so much fun. Get ready Leslie this little one has more energy then even you do. McF

Been Busy
Lily got a new swing for the backyard. She is a little small for it but she sure loves to swing. Before you know it she will be too big for it. UGH she is growing so fast.
Lily is learning to cycle early. She loves to go for rides. She has her first 5k in the morning. Hopefully she will learn to push mommy in this thing before the morning.
Lily is playing super woman with a dish towel.Well we have been busy around here. Somehow Lily caught the croup from her boyfriend that lives in New Braunfels. We are not sure how this could have happened- they have not seen one another in a couple of months. So we still have the cough going. Poor little thing coughs all night long. Although she is suprisingly sleeping pretty good at night. Mo (my mom) babysat while we were in New Orleans and Lily gave her a run for her money- I think mom has been in the bed for 5 days with a cold. I am sure she is really happy about that.
Lily has been very active otherwise. She is starting to try and put her knees under her while she is on her tummy. It is so funny to watch- she just wiggles around. We watched her go around in circles last night watching all of the animals. Soon this little one will be running through the house. How do you stop time from flying by? Sorry I have been bad about my blog. I promise to be better. McF
