Lily and I got to spend the weekend together while daddy was away. We had a great time and she sure made mommy tired. She is a busy little bee. As you can see she is learning to read, or maybe just learning to chew on the ends of the book. We had a great time. She went shopping with her Aunt Lee Lee and Aunt Roo on Saturday and if you can believe this mommy did not even buy her one thing. Not that she needs anything her closet is packed full of clothes that she has not even worn. I am starting to stress out that after 12 months she will not have anything to wear. I am sure I will get that taken care of.
I have not updated you on the chest x-rays everything was perfect and they found nothing in her chest. She was put on some antibiotics for an ear infection and also some nose spray. Poor little Nu Nus she does not like all of this. Maybe the doctor is right she is just a snotty kid. ;)
Her Mo is coming in town this week to stay a few days with her. That will be fun it has been over a month since Mo has been to Houston and a lot has changed since then. We are all over the place and faster then the speed of light on our knees. McF

Lily 8 months old!
Little Lily is 8 months old now. Wow how things have changed. She is pulling up on everything in site. She is running this house like she has always been a part of it. We just love her more and more everyday.
We have had my mom's 3 dogs here for the month of July and Lily loves to squeal at them. They in turn love when she eats, she likes to drop everything on the ground.
As you can see Lily likes to hold her on bottle and eat on the floor. That is nice it gives mom and dad 4 minutes to do something else.
We went to the doctor today to have her cough checked. Dr. Amanda put her on antibiotics and sent us over to the imaging center for chest x-rays. They put Lily in this strange plastic tube looking thing. She was not sure about all of it. She did not cry until the very end. We are still waiting on the results from the x-rays. I am praying that she is just a snotty coughy kiddo (Dr. Amanda's words).
Sorry it has been so long. I promise to get better at this. McF

Hard Lesson Learned!
well we learned a great lesson on Sunday morning. We laid Lily on the bed and turned away for 2 seconds and boom there she was on the floor. What a horrible feeling it all was. Mike and I did not know what to do. She was screaming her little head off with a bump on her head and a busted lip. We for sure learned that we can never leave her on the bed again. She is doing great and it only kept her from smiling for a little bit. Our hearts just broke when it happened. Unreal. I am not looking forward to her walking and getting any more bumps and bruises.
Lily Belle
It was a great weekend. Lily had such a busy day on the 4th. She went and played with her cousins and then went to a BBQ next door. She was a little unsure of the fireworks at first. But, daddy held onto her and that made it all better. She is on the move and does not like to sit still. Time to child proof the entire house. McF Awww. Not many pics of her and mommy.
Sitting like a big girl at a restaurant.
Smiling in her high chair
Eating all the chips with her cousin Sarah and Aunt Christi
Lily has her own big girl pool in the backyard.
