We are 15 months!

We are 15 months now.. Wow I can not believe how fast the time has flown. I was looking at pictures from a year ago and just can not seem to remember her ever being that small or looking the way she did when she was a baby.
Lily loves going out in the backyard. She doesn't care if the rain is falling or not. She wants to be outside. She loves chasing the cats around. Henry (our red cat) seems to kind of like Lily- well if it is possible for a cat to like a TODDLER.... He lets her chase him all over the backyard and even laid down for a rub down yesterday. We find Lily all over the backyard in the bushes you name it she thinks she is a cat. She squeals when she sees them and gets so excited.

We had a really good weekend. It was a relaxing one but a good one. We had a visit from Mike's mom (Gamma) yesterday. Lily loved showing off her stuff to her. She really thinks she is little miss thang. So funny!
Mike played golf Sunday afternoon so Lily and I went to the park with all of the other neighborhood children. Some children don't know how to play well with others and some just wanted to drag Lily around. She has finally gotten to wear she can climb all the way up the jungle gym to get to the slide. Don't worry her mother is always close behind. She loves to think she is steering the park with the wheel that is by the slide. She wanted to climb the ropes today, but I just did not see that as being possible for her. One day but not today she will be running all over that place.

When we got home from the park it was BATH time. I never really thought Lily could stink---besides the normal dirty DA DA'S.. But, she really smelled like outside and stinky tonight so I gave her a quick bath and she was worn out so she fell asleep by 6. So that was nice, hopefully she will sleep for 13 hours. Because I for one do not want to get up at 6. I too am beat from all of the park play.

I go to Austin for the week on Tuesday. I am really sad this time. It gets harder and harder to leave her. I have grown so attached to being with her all of the time. I told Mike he has to pick her up between 4 and 5 from daycare or she will think that her parent's have forgotten about her. I don't see his work understanding that-they can sure call me with any questions or concerns. I am getting all the weeks outfits ready for Mike. I am making sure that our baby looks like a model while her mommy is gone. Although daycare always seems to know when mommy is gone..... could it possibly be that Mike has yet to realize that maybe his baby girl needs a quick hair brushing in the morning. :) I am taking rubberbands to school in the morning so the daycare ladies can help her to keep her hair out of her eyes. Anyways that is all I have for right now, I will post more next week.. Next weekend on the agenda is....................THE ZOO!

A day off!

Lily and mommy got to spend the day together. Her school had a teacher education day, and mommy took the day off. We had a lot of fun. We went to Clay's and she ate a hamburger and well I ate some chicken (:p).
She got to play with her friends and feed all of the animals. She loves the horse, she squealed at him a lot. And then there was a cow that I wanted to bring home with me, he seemed to be a little thin for my liking. She had a lot of fun.
So now I am hoping that she will let mommy go to the gym and go and play in the gym daycare for just a little bit. I will let you know how that works.

Downtown Aquarium on Valentine's Day!

These pics are a little out of order. I am trying to figure out how to get more on here, and when I upload them they are out of order. So anyone want to help?

We went to the downtown aquarium for Valentine's Day this year. We had so much fun. My mom was here and Lily could not be more attached to her. It is unreal, Mike and I do not exist when she is around. Lily thought all the fish were awesome. She just went up and down the walls looking at all of the colorful fish.
This was the first thing she saw before entering the aquarium and she thought this was great. She just walked fast around and around it.
Here she is with a huge turtle that even I thought was gross. She would talk to him and bang on the window to make sure he was paying attention.

This was at the end. She was so worn out. No nap and so many fish can really get a girl worn out.

You can't see Lily but Mo is holding her to let her see the sharks in the tank.

Lily also was not afraid of going nose to nose with this kitty cat.

We went on a train ride through the shark tank. That was fun and a little frightening at the same time. I am scared to death of catfish and then there are sharks above your head that was enough for me. But, Lily enjoyed the sharks and the train ride. So all in all Valentine's this year could not have been any better. All of my favorite peeps were with us and we had a great time.

Mo's Visit!

This is Caleb, Lily's best friend at school. I had to put his picture on here, this boy can eat more food then anyone in the world.
So sweet. Lily sharing her milk and kisses with her daddy.

Lily ate cheetohs at her Valentine's party at school. Who in the world would bring these for the kids?

Mo reading to Lily. If you will notice Lily has her hair done. I like to blow it out and style it at night it is so funny.

Weekend fun!

We went to lunch and Lily ate the biggest french fry I have ever seen. I was so jealous watching her eat this............ She is lucky her mommy didn't take it away from her and dip it in ranch and eat it all.

Driving home we saw this huge cow that I had to take a picture of.. WOW!

Daddy and Nu Nus eating crayons.

Lily there is a monkey on your back!!!

Random fun pics!

Here is a pic of me and Justin Riley (JRiles) who couldn't be more of a Republican. We have a lot of fun with this. Because as all of my readers know I am PRO OBAMA!
A pic of the girls. On the right is Leah(you all know Leah) and introducing Luann Riley our friend from Alabama. She was picked up at a bar and we couldn't be happier with this find. Welcome to the dinner party club Lu!

And of course Little Lily, doing her thing!

out with the old!

I decided that it was time to put some of Lily's old things in the attic (swing, bouncy chair, jumperoo, ect..) When Lily got home from daycare and saw all of these items in the kitchen she was so excited. She went right to her bouncy chair and crawled in. She is such a big girl now, but still wanted to try it out for one last time.

Bu Bye Mullet and Hello Superbowl!

After getting home from the park on Saturday night I decided it was time to give the little one a little trim. So while she was playing in the bathtub mommy was trying to cut her hair. She has a little bob now and it is so cute. Needless to say it is not the most straight I have ever seen, but the mullet is gone.
We had a few people over for the Superbowl on Sunday night, Lily just loved hanging out and playing with everyone. She thought it was her washers tournament in the backyard.

Lily is really attached to her Uncle CC. She think he hung the moon. He is pretty much her go to guy when he is around. I love watching their relationship grow.

Luann made this wonderful cheese ball, look how awesome it looks. A football and everything!
It was time for bed, and it was only half time. Poor little one, maybe next year she will watch more! McF
